There's a fantastic video going around showcasing a group of young adults who are told to rate eachother based on what they think each others IQ tests are. Two of these individuals stand out. One of which is your classic millennial/gen z arrogant girl who flaunts her swath of credentials around the entire duration of the video. She has a Bachelor's Degree, a Master's, and a PhD. She also goes on to to talk about how she works for a biotech company that makes vaccines (that aged well). The other person of interest is a young male who was in the military. She berates him (as do the others) on assuming he is the dumbest of the bunch. Well there ends up being a plot twist at the end and the PhD student, in all her accoladed glory, scored the lowest IQ and the gentleman in the army scored near the top. Modern “education” does not equate to genuine intelligence. In fact it destroys it.
The Inception
What does this say. It says that the education system as we know it is flawed. The education system as we know it has been created to foster obedience. Not critical thinking. Take the plandemic as an example. It was almost always the more “educated” people that blindly obeyed every government mandate. Why? Because they've been taught to fall in line for years. Two decades of their lives were spent in the education system, slowly teaching them, not how to think, but how to blindly follow orders. What's interesting is that the more degrees and accolades they collected from institutions, generally the more obedient they were. The bigger the acronymic alphabet soup next to their name on their linked in profile, the more they fell in line. It's almost as if the longer they spend in the school system, the more they lose their humanity. And it makes sense, they have no practical engagement with the real world. They reside in a shielded bubble for years. Nowadays with the utmost corruption and leftist ideological capture of the school system, things are bad. Really bad.
The system of education used across the whole of the Western world nowadays is based on something called the Prussian model. It was created to address the failings of Prussia and it’s military during the Napoleonic wars. They developed a system of “education” which had the express goal of indoctrinating children between the ages of 6 to 16, into full compliance with state ideologies and dogma. To put it simply, their goal was to make sure that “No German soldier would ever disobey an order again”. Now I want you to take a second and ponder the ramifications and significance of sure a system. This is how your children are being taught right now in the public education system. Shortly after this system was implemented world war 1 and 2 rolled around and to no one with a brain cell’s surprise, every German soldier and citizen did whatever the government had told them. No matter the atrocity, no matter the immorality behind it, they did as they were told, because they were groomed from an early age to obey. This model explains why modern schools so often employ compliant rule followers and petty tyrants. They teach students to comply, stay at your grade level, do your homework, never challenge authority. Whether it's the principal, the teachers or the hall monitors, they are there to make sure no one steps out of line and no one thinks differently than what they are told. The underlying human responsibility to nurturing children is abandoned.
On top of all this, we coop children up into these schools which have so many similarities to a prison. Their sterile lifeless environments are filled with dead colours, hideous manufactured plastics and throw away tables. The walls are mute and the lockers are cheap. The desks falls apart and are mass manufactured. The children line up in a single file to receive their poisonous slop of a lunch on their plastic trays, at an exact time of day. They are allowed half an hour to roam around a dreary school yard. There are buses that shuffle them to and from school. They aren't allowed to leave and must receive a pass to enter the hallway. The similarities to prison are uncanny and more importantly, intentional. Kids are able to name brands off the top of their head but cannot name different plants and animals. We are so disconnected from the earth that it has become dangerous to let them actually be in nature. How perverse is that? So what's happening is that we do not have “free-range kids”. We have factory farmed kids. Adults who are raising factory farmed kids because they don't know any different. We need a more “regenerative” system that heals the proverbial “soil”. One that heals the children's souls. Soul and soil are very similar for a reason. The humus, the topsoil of the earth and human are also very similar for a reason. We are so closely linked to the earth. If we don't have a relationship with the earth and if we don't teach our children to have one, what can we expect? We have to teach our children to grow and nurture the soil as well as their souls. The reason herbicide and pesticide have a similar root as homicide, is because those chemicals are actually killing the Earth, just like we are killing our children by putting them through these education systems. We kill the curious spirit by removing them from the natural world. We force them into a life of chasing arbitrary accolades that don't mean anything. You used to be able to do well with just a high school degree. Now even a master's won't get you far at all. In fact you can't afford a home or even an apartment. So why are we putting them through years of torture and then numbing them with anti depressants and medication when they get restless in the modern school/prison system? We're numbing their minds and destroying their souls. Of course they're restless. Something has to change.
The Contemporary Frankenstein of the Old System and the Woke New System
Before it was simply a fault of the system, it was created not with critical thinking, but obedience in mind. It was created to churn out worker drones not mould breakers. Now it's even worse because it's intentionally making children (and adults) soft and weak. The ideological capture by leftist Marxist ideologues has created such a perverse rendition of what schooling should have been. Whether it's the safe spaces or the validation of feelings. The genderless washrooms or the pronoun mafia. The communist agenda or the demonization of masculinity. The modern school system is a mental death trap. A prison that a person carries with them in their mind through the rest of their lives. It is a poison that leaches into society and has incredibly negative real world implications.
Platonic education from the ancient Greeks always emphasized the study of logic. The trifecta of Pathos, Logos and Ethos, allowed students to approach every problem in life with a critical mind. One not bogged down by senseless desire and emotion. But one not devoid of it either. Simply put, a mind in balance. One that can reason, deduce, and calculate all factors when decisions are to be made. Logos was the appeal to logic. It means to appeal to your audience’s sense of reason or logic. By using logos, the author will make clear and logical connections between ideas. Whether it is through facts, statistics, or literal and historical analogies, the connections are made. The idea is to create an argument devoid of logical fallacies.
Now in today's education system, being already built on the back of the original Prussian system designed to create obedient soldiers for the meat grinder of war, completely removes logos or logic from the system. Students are not pushed to use reason and deductive skills to lead to good decision making. They are pushed to make decisions based purely on emotion. Even the way they debate has been corrupted by this outright emotional dogma and it shows. If you ever flip through social media you'll have inevitably landed on a “leftist gets owned” video. Every single time, the leftist in question is generally an “educated” person, regardless of age, and every single time, they meltdown and attack the other person's character. Now if you understand debate tactics, attacking someone's character is the lowest form of debate. In fact it need not even be considered debating. Once someone falls back on character attacks, they are lashing out and biting at anything that moves like a wounded animal, except the person wasn't wounded. They simply revert basic to their baser instincts, the reptilian brain, and try these hail Mary attempts at inflicting any damage to the opposing side. They lash out wildly like a captured feral cat in a last ditch attempt to dehumanize their opponent. This is the result of the addition of leftist ideologues in our education system. Or should I say, our indoctrination system. No logic, just emotion. And the societal implications of this are very dark and serious.
I have a family friend whose daughters were both raised and educated in the Canadian School system. Recently I heard them speak of, what truly is a horror story. One of the daughters would bring her classmates home to hang out and what not. And she would demand her parents refer to them by their pronouns. Whatever made up pronouns they were. Now, of course the parents refused as they should. We don't tell schizophrenics that the dragon they are seeing is real. So why would we validate these people's delusions. This created such a huge rift between the child and the parents that relations would never be the same. Now where pray tell did this poor child learn this idiotic jargon? Church? The gym? The local bakery? No it was in school.
So now we have a school system that was created to breed non critical thinking cannon fodder. This mixed with leftist ideologues, the result is an absolute abomination that should not be taken lightly. Step one is that we remove the children's ability to think for themselves. Step two, begin the appeal to emotion and only emotion. We teach them that their feelings are valid and that they should always react to every singular impulse they have. Step three, once they are sufficiently docile and jacked up on persistent emotional validation, we start pumping the leftist tropes and mantras into their heads. It is despicable and should be treated as a crime. These people who are doing this are trying to destroy entire nations and have no actual empathy to the families and lives they destroy, despite teaching that emotion is the cornerstone of good humanity. There's a reason that there are countless examples of education boards silencing parents of students who have been vocal in needing more oversight of what the children are learning. They silence them, attack their character and have closed door meetings where they make sure all the staff are on board with the agenda. They make sure that any staff who oppose it, are punished and fired. It is a cult like behaviour and it manifest in the temper tantrum throwing adults we see all over the internet today.
Now we have generations of people chasing accolades and credentials instead of real world experience. Whether they have masters or PhD or this certificate or that certificate, it makes no difference because they themselves have not developed the mental capacity to critically think and have only ever known obedience and the chase for more acronyms to put next to their LinkedIn name. People don't even delve deep into what they're learning. They simply grind it out to be able to get a pat on the back from their employer and a raise that won't even negate inflation let alone make a difference in their life. Most of the time these people don't even know what they're studying for. They Just know that they have to study so that they can satisfy some arbitrary need that an institution has set as a workplace standard. This is a spiral of ineffective and stagnant thinking which can only create a society that does not innovate. It's stifles innovation and puts society in the situation where we have people studying for decades of their lives only to emerge in debt exhausted and realizing that the best years of their lives were they could have created something are gone. So once they're done grades 1 through 12 and their undergrad they go on to study for many more years. Further being indoctrinated and their minds dulled to the sensations of free thinking, and their minds further pumped with useless leftist ideologues. What we are left with is people who do not know what they want and an unsatisfied shell of a person that once had dreams.
Where Do We Go From Here
Homeschool and community home schools. We need to oversee and be fully immersed in what is being put into our children's minds. If you don't raise your children the government will. This is why the attack on mother's and stay at home moms is so closely linked to the education crisis. They want mothers in the work force so that there's no one at home making sure the kids are safe from propaganda. So bringing schooling back into the warm nest of the home, with other like minded parents and their children. That is the solution. To add classes in logic and critical thinking. To push for more experiments in free thinking where the children are allowed to imagine and come up with their own ideas. To spend more time outside engaging with the natural world. These are the ways we take back our children's hearts and minds. They are the most vulnerable members of our society. So why would we leave their health and future up to something as careless as government and their malevolent twisted institutions. It is the job of the parents to get more involved in what goes on in their child's lives. This modern way of life where parents are constantly chasing these accoladed lifestyles leaves children wanting and they find attention elsewhere. And just like a predator the school system is there waiting to further indoctrinate them and make them lose their sense of self. It's going to be hard but parents need to make time and figure out ways to be with their kids more and and have a much deeper oversight into what goes on in their school life. Even if it is a cliché, it takes a village. In years past, there were always multiple people, not just the parents, involved in the raising of a child. When it comes to community homeschooling, we must realize that it is hard. But the fruits of the labor result in children you can be proud of. Children that become truly productive members of their society. One's that are emotionally stable, empathetic, caring, strong, protectors.
Statistically speaking, the entrepreneurs of the world are the “c” students. They don't like to work in the box. If they sense that something is going to be a waste of time, then they don't do it. When everyone else is running by the clock and they feel the pressure to get their assigned work done, only focused on grades and pleasing that authority figure, the “c” student is looking out the window dreaming his dreams. He's always thinking, “What am I gonna do”. He's the one that doesn’t see limitations and he's the one that doesn't want to be told what to do. They question everything including unjust authority. They, from the get go, realize that true freedom lies in carving your own path. They intrinsically sense this and understand that just following the herd isn't going to get them on their path of freedom. Did you know the average GPA of the most successful entrepreneurs is around 2.9? According to the book "The Millionaire Mind," the average college GPA of a millionaire was 2.9, and there is no statistical correlation between economic productivity and academic performance. Similarly, a study of 700 American millionaires found that their average GPA was 2.9. So let's raise free thinkers who's minds aren't limited by classes indoors and linear thinking. Homeschooling allows us to chase down our dreams, curiosities and interests, allowing the ability to foster an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for learning and exploration. Let’s do better as a society and nurture our young instead of destroying their potential.
Welcome weary traveller. The road I take it, was long and fraught with peril. Here you may rest your head. - Project Lazarus
Love this read! It made me reflect on my gratitude to my parents when I and my brothers were in school and how they encouraged us to question everything, to offer and debate alternative perspectives! It also made me reflect on my time In high school when I did dare question the "status quo" and was academically outcast from doing so. SUPER interesting...
Love your brain :)
Thank God we homeschool
